The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in special work session with the Planning and Zoning Commission, Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 6:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall with Mayor Nieland presiding and the following council members present:  Rehn, Lammers, and Pazour.  Absent:  Cram, Wagner, and Adamson.  The following Planning and Zoning Commission members were present:  Golden, Neighbor, Nesteby, Siedl, Sherman, Preussner and AbouAssaly

Council Member Adamson arrived at 6:20 p.m.

Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission discussed the following agenda items with no action taken:  City Zoning Ordinance Update, Update of the City Comprehensive Plan, Developer submittals, Staff Report Evaluation, Commission Review and Recommendations, and Planner Position Update.

Mayor Nieland adjourned the meeting at 7:37 p.m.
