SIDEWALK INSPECTION PROGRAM
Every two years the Engineering Inters walk the sidewalks, marking those that do not meet SUDAS standards with pink paint. This year they walked the northern portion of Marion, approximately McGowan Blvd. and north. This is done to ensure that our city sidewalks are user friendly and safe for citizens.
In 2016, notices went out to 186 property owners that were cited for sidewalk violations. If you received a Notice of Violation letter please fill out the required permit and submit to the Engineering Department.
