The City of Marion provides both curbside recycling for solid waste customers and a recycling drop-off center [1].
The City of Marion provides each household one curbside recycling container and lid. The container is to remain at the home when relocating.
Residents of newly constructed homes need to stop at the Public Service Department, 195 35th St., to pick up a recycling container and lid.
A lost or damaged container is the responsibility of the homeowner to replace at their cost. Additional containers may be purchased for $11 and emptied at no additional cost each week.
Recyclables need to be in the blue containers only (with the exception of corrugated cardboard, which may be placed under the bin).
