The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in special work session, Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall with Mayor Nieland presiding and the following council members present:  Wagner, Rehn, Lammers, and Pazour. Absent:  Cram and Adamson.

Council Member Adamson arrived at 3:10 p.m.

Finance Director Wes Nelson presented the financial analysis.  City Manager Jeff Schott presented the budget overview.

Council discussed the budget goals for fiscal year 2007-2008 with no action taken.

Mayor Nieland adjourned the meeting at 4:15 p.m.
