The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in special session, Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall with Mayor pro tem Rehn presiding and the following council members present:  Wagner, Lammers, Pazour, and Adamson.  Absent:  Mayor Nieland and Cram.

Moved by Wagner, seconded by Lammers to approve bills as presented in the amount of $489,423.91.  All in favor, motion carried.

Resolution No. 19452 approving agreement with Cedar Rapids Area Convention & Visitors Bureau for Hotel-Motel funding for FY 06-07 in the amount of $5,000.00 was read by Lammers.  Moved by Lammers, seconded by Pazour to approve Res. No. 19452.  Tim Boyle, President, Cedar Rapids Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, reviewed their activities that promote the City of Marion.  All in favor, motion carried.

Resolution No. 19453 approving one-year extension for banking services with Farmers State Bank through June 30, 2008 was read by Pazour.  Moved by Pazour, seconded by Wagner to approve Res. No. 19453.  All in favor, motion carried.

Mayor pro tem Rehn adjourned the meeting at 4:12 p.m.
