What is the condition of housing in Marion?  Is there a segment of the population with a specific housing need?  These are the questions to which the City hope to have answers by August.  The City recently contracted with the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG) to conduct a Housing Needs Assessment for the entire community.  The Housing Needs Assessment should provide information regarding the condition of the exisiting housing stock, the number and type of housing units, and a whole host of important demographic information.  The results of the study will be used to help determine housing needs and possible assistance programs.  However, the City needs your help...

In order for the Housing Needs Assessment to be completed with accurate information, we are asking you to complete an online electronic survey HERE.

Answering questions in the survey will assist ECICOG gather the most accurate information and create a document that truly addresses the needs of the community.  Your responses can assist us in targeting the specific areas and in what order they should be addressed.
