The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Marion, Iowa, will meet Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Marion City Hall, 1100 8th Avenue, Marion, Iowa for their regular monthly meeting.  The agenda is as follows:

4. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT -

a. Public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the Marion Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the designation from Parks and Recreation to Office/High-Intensity Mixed Use for property located east of Armar Drive, south of Marion Boulevard (City of Marion/Anace Aossey).

b. CPC Resolution No. 06-23 regarding a proposed amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the Marion Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the designation from Parks and Recreation to Office/High-Intensity Mixed Use for property located east of Armar Drive, south of Marion Boulevard (City of Marion/Anace Aossey).

b. CPC Resolution No. 06-21 regarding a request to rezone property located east of Armar Drive, south of Marion Boulevard from A-1, Rural Restricted and R-3, Two-Family Residential to 0-2, Office-Park (Parcel C and H).  (City of Marion/Anace Aossey).  (Case #06-06)

c. CPC Resolution No. 06-22 regarding a request to rezone property located east of Armar Drive, south of Marion Boulevard from R-2, Medium Density Single-Family Residential to 0-2, Office Park (Parcel D) (Anace Aossey).  (Case #06-07)

d. Public hearing regarding a request to rezone property located between 49th Street and 50th Street on a northerly extension of 49th Street from R-2, Medium Density, Single-Family Residential to R-4, Four Family Residential.  (Lance and Karen Dunn)

e. CPC Resolution No. 06-25 regarding a request to rezone property located between 49th Street and 50th Street on a northerly extension of 49th Street from R-2, Medium Density, Single-Family Residential to R-4, Four Family Residential.  (Lance and Karen Dunn)

f. Public hearing regarding a request to rezone property located at 600 35th Street from A-1, Rural Restricted to I-2, General Industrial (T & M Properties, LLP/Michael Borst and Thomas Borst).
