Public Services and Sewer Divisions in the City of Marion use tags similar to the one on the right side of this page to notify residents of work that will be done in their neighborhoods. The tags indicate when the job should start, what type of work will be completed and provide a contact number if residents have questions.

Keep in mind that the start date listed on the tags is the "anticipated" date and could, therefore, change due to emergency repairs, weather and any number of reasons. 

Crews will do their best to get into the neighborhood, finish quality work and leave with as little inconvenience as possible to the residents in and around the work zone. 

Also, be aware that police and fire departments are notified when a street is closed or there are lane restrictions to traffic. Emergency teams will always be able to respond to calls in your neighborhood if the need arises. 

Crews are also very appreciative of the support they receive from the citizens of Marion.
