Yard waste is collected curbside from the 1st full week of April through the end of November.  Grass clippings must be in paper bio-degradable bags weighing no more than 40lbs.  A 32 gallon can marked with a "Y" facing the street may be used for all other yard waste.  Sticks/limbs/twigs larger than 1" but no more than 3" in diameter must be bundled with twine and measure no longer than 3' and weigh no more than 40lbs.  Garbage and yard waste cannot be mixed in the same can or bag.  No sod or dirt may be left at the curb or dropped off at the yard waste facility.  Any yard waste may also be hauled to 195 35th Street weekdays from 7:00 am to 3:15 pm and 8:00 am to 4:15 Saturdays.  YARD WASTE MAY NOT BE PLACED IN PLASTIC BAGS AT THE CURB OR AT THE DROP OFF FACILITY.  The site also remains open until 5:45 pm on Tuesdays.
