The City will be acquiring approximately 40 acres of land, much located in the flood plain that will be utilized as park and trail. The applicant will retain the remaining lots for future development accessed from Cedar Rapids.
Staff indicated that a condition of approval would be to amend the plat to show lettered rather than numbered lots. The developer will be required to replat developable property in the future at which time public improvements and stormwater management will be addressed.
