 <description>&lt;p&gt;January 17, 2008&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in regular session, Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall with Mayor Rehn presiding and the following council members present:&amp;nbsp; Sprague, Adamson, Lammers, Pazour, and Glew.&amp;nbsp; Absent:&amp;nbsp; None.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Council Member Glew requested that Resolution No. 19732, approving proposal from Altorfer Power Systems related to maintenance of city hall generator, be removed from the consent calendar for separate consideration.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;December 20, 2007&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in regular session, Thursday, December 20, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall with Mayor Nieland presiding and the following council members present:&amp;nbsp; Cram, Wagner, Rehn, Lammers, Pazour, and Adamson.&amp;nbsp; Absent:&amp;nbsp; None.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tom Moran from TTNT Siding and Window, 1200 Blairs Ferry Road, expressed concern about access to his property.&amp;nbsp; He noted that his business and the neighboring business, King&#039;s Kars, share a driveway.&amp;nbsp; He stated that cars from King&#039;s Kars partially block the driveway.&amp;nbsp; Mr. Moran noted that not only is it difficult for customers to get into the business, it would difficult for police or fire personnel to get into the business if there were an emergency.&amp;nbsp; Mayor Nieland asked the City Manager, City Attorney, and Police Chief to review the situation.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;November 15, 2007&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The City Council of the City of Marion, Linn County, Iowa met in regular session, Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall with Mayor pro tem Rehn presiding and the following council members present:&amp;nbsp; Cram, Wagner, Lammers, Pazour, and Adamson.&amp;nbsp; Absent:&amp;nbsp; Mayor Nieland.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Boy Scout Troop 89.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Gerald Vuichard, 3649 Brookside Drive, explained that he submitted a request at the October 18&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; Council meeting regarding the Brookside Drive Sanitary Sewer Project.&amp;nbsp; He has since met with the City Manager regarding his concerns.&amp;nbsp; He noted that the issue was not resolved.&amp;nbsp; He asked that the City help him obtain an easement across the neighbor&amp;rsquo;s property so that he can connect to the sanitary sewer.&amp;nbsp; He noted that he would also like financial assistance.&amp;nbsp; City Manager Lon Pluckhahn noted that if Mr. Vuichard is unable to obtain the easement the City may be able to assist.&amp;nbsp; Council asked for further information regarding the agreement.&amp;nbsp; City Attorney Don Hoskins noted that no action can be taken on this item tonight since it was not on the printed agenda and is not an emergency. &lt;/p&gt;
