&lt;strong&gt;Fishing Basics &lt;/strong&gt;Tuesday, June 10 @ Thomas Park &lt;p&gt;9:00AM--11:00AM Open to students ages 9-16 &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This program will cover how to cast a fishing rod and some of the ways to catch fish.&amp;nbsp; We will provide the poles and bait-- all you need to do is show up.&amp;nbsp; With some luck we will learn about the fish caught by the group and will learn skills like holding a fish and how to release a fish. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cost: $3.00 per student. Pet owners are encouraged to keep pets home during large community functions. Additional brochures are also available at the Parks and Recreation Office, 4500 N Tenth Street, Lowe Park.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Fees are payable at the time of registration. Checks should be made out to the Marion Parks and Recreation Department. &lt;strong&gt;No credit cards will be accepted.&lt;/strong&gt; A late fee of $5 per individual program will be added if you wait until after the registration deadline. Refunds will be given to anyone who withdraws from an activity (excluding swimming lessons) prior to the start of the event, however, a minimum $5 administration fee will be charged. No refunds will be given after an activity has begun.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
