A public open house is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Marion City Hall to gather feedback and solicit ideas. The open house format will allow attendees to come and go as they please. Suggestions will be reviewed as part of the capital project planning process.

Capital projects typically provide a long-term public benefit. They have a lifespan of more than 10 years and cost over $25,000. Capital projects do not include ongoing maintenance such as pothole repair, tree trimming and snow removal.
