The Parks & Recreation Department maintains over 600 acres of public ground, including:

3 Baseball/Softball complexes with concession stands   
Legion Park Disc Golf Course

• 81 pieces of Playground equipment
• 9 pavilions and 8 restrooms 
• 20 ball diamonds
• 1 swimming pool
• 3 splash pads
• 35^th Street roundabout flower beds
• 6^th Ave Central Corridor plantings and pedestrian areas
• Over 6.5 miles of city owned sidewalks and over 8 miles of urban trails    
• 26 parking lots
• Oak Shade Cemetery
