The City of Marion employs more than 200 dedicated staff members to serve the residents of Marion.
Our emergency response team includes Marion Fire Department, Marion Police Department and our Communications Center. Other City of Marion departments include Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Community Development, Engineering, Parks & Recreation and Public Services.
The Marion Public Library is a municipal library that operates under the leadership of the Library Board of Trustees. Additionally, the Marion Water Department, which handles utility billing for the City, operates under the leadership of the Marion Water Board.
