Judith Hull is the the current chairperson of the Marion Historic Preservation Commission. As part of Judith's respect and love of Marion's history she has completed several books on Marion's long history, and has made these books available for purchase at the Marion Heritage Center and Friends of the Marion Library and several other local establishments and available for free online through the Marion Public Library's Digital Archives.

| Pucker Street Revisited | 2002 | A self-guided tour of "Pucker Street" was first developed and printed in 1998 (Sorry 1st Addition is no longer available). Since that time the district was awarded National Register status and new information was discovered which made some of the earlier "assumptions" incorrect. It was felt that this was a good time for a new and revised "tour". There are now nearly 50 buildings on the tour. |
| The People and Homes of Terrace Park | 2005 | This is the second in a series of self-guided tours that includes histories of Marion. This tour details the first addition to Marion, but it wasn't developed into a housing subdivision until after the Civil War. |
| Roads, Railroads & Trolley Cars of Marion | 2007 | The purpose of this book is to give the people of our community an understanding of the role that the various forms of transportation played in the growth of the community, through the end of the 20th century. |
| Around the Park: Marion's Merchants... Then & Now | 2008 | The fifth book focuses on the Marion Uptown business district and how it has changed over the years. |
| Territorial Road... 6th Avenue from Thomas Park to Uptown Marion | 2011 | 6th Avenue from Thomas Park to Uptown Marion, was the communities original gateway into the City. This book focuses on Marion's earliest road connecting the community to Cedar Rapids. |
| Brick Houses of Marion | 2014 | Oral tradition tells us that brick was used in the construction of buildings in Marion almost as soon as the town was platted and lots were sold. |
