Fiscal Year 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program

City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program following a public hearing on April 18, 2024 with Resolution 31894.  

Overall the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes $136.85M in project expenses.  

56% of the program is for Street and Traffic Improvement Projects such as the annual pavement management program, Alburnett Road Extension.  7th Ave from 12th to 22nd St, and Tower Terrace Road.

20% of the program is for utility infrastructure projects such as the annual sewer and storm sewer programs and the Indian Creek Trunk Sewer project.

11% is for culture, parks and recreation projects such as CeMar Trail, Indian Creek improvements, Mobile library, and park improvement projects.   

The program is funded as follows:

27% - Local Option Sales Tax

26% - Grants

19% - General Obligation Bonds

12% - Other Pay as You Go
