Fire is Everyone’s Fight™ 

At the MFD, we work every day to keep our citizens and homes safe. Both our Public Education and Community Outreach programs help support our mission to protect lives and property. We want you to recognize and understand the importance of taking small steps to make your home and family safer from fire. Our ultimate goal is to teach Marion to be safer.  

Fire is Everyone’s Fight™  is a national effort led by the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) to lower the number of home fires and home fire injuries in America. Along with USFA and partner organizations across the country, the fire community is speaking out with a unified message of fire prevention and safety to the public. The goal is to change how people think about fire and fire prevention.
