Special/Bulk Collections Information: 

Special/bulk collections are scheduled for every Monday and must be pre-paid by credit card the week prior to the collection. Please call 319-377-6367 to schedule. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm.

The base/minimum cost is $40 for every 15 minutes of service. The following items have an additional fee:

• Appliances - $10 per unit
• Cardboard - $20 per stop. Please note, Marion's Recycling Drop-Off Center is a free alternative.
• Mattresses - $20 per unit
• Televisions - $15 per unit
• Tires - $10 per tire
• Tires with rims - $15 per unit
• Electronics - $10 per unit

Items that are not collected include toxic/hazardous materials, propane tanks, auto parts, and construction or demolition debris.

The Public Services Department offers bulk brush collection to Marion residents with City solid waste services. Brush collections are scheduled for every Tuesday and must be pre-paid the week prior to the collection.

Fees for brush collections are $40 for every 15 minutes of service.
