The following City of Marion Boards and Commissions are staffed by the Parks and Recreation Department:

• Marion Park Board
• Marion Arts Council
• Marion Tree Board
• Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)

In addition, the Parks and Recreation Department provides support to the following Friends Groups.

• Friends of the Cemetery
• Friends of Marion Parks
