The Public Service Department operates a Recycling Drop-Off Center and is free to all city refuse customers in Marion.

Tuesdays: Noon - 5:45 p.m.  
Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Items accepted at the facility include:

• all acceptable single stream recycling items 
• glass 
• bulk cardboard
• scrap metal
• used metal garbage cans

Oversized plastics are NOT accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: The City is accepting old garbage, recycling and yard waste containers on select dates and times in conjunction with the roll-out of automated curbside collection.

Linn County residents can also access the Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency's landfill and recycling facility. The facility is located north of Marion.
