PURPOSE:
The primary goals and objectives of the Tree Board are to study, investigate, counsel, develop, update annually and administer a written plan for carrying out the planting, removal, maintenance and protection of all trees and shrubs on public areas.
ABOUT THE BOARD:
The Marion Tree Board has seven (7) board members who are appointed to serve 4 year terms.

MEETING TIMES:
The Tree Board meets at 7:00 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Parks Administrative & Operations Building at Thomas Park. All meetings are open to the public. If you have an item that you would like to have discussed by the Marion Tree Board, please contact Marion Parks and Recreation in advance of the meeting at 319-447-3580.
