All fees are due at the time of your registration. Cash, check, and credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) are accepted. Checks should be made out to Marion Parks and Recreation. There is a $25 fee for returned checks.
Refunds can be processed in one of two ways; household credit or refunding of funds. Refunds will be processed and returned to your credit card or a check will be issued if you paid by check or cash. Refunds can take up to 15 business days to process.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will be given for withdrawals from an activity prior to the start of the event, less a $10 administrative fee per transaction. There are no refunds after a program has started and fees will not be prorated if you chose to register for a program late. Credit can be made to your RecDesk household account or refund will be credited back to your credit card. Exceptions may be approved by the Parks and Recreation Director or their designee.
Examples:
1. John signs his grandsons up for a camp. He calls to cancel both; we charge a $10 administrative fee and refund the program fees (one fee, one transaction).
2. John signs his grandsons up for a camp. He cancels Jim and leaves Joe in the program; we charge a $10 administrative fee and refund the applicable program fee. He calls to cancel Joe a week later which is another refund transaction; we charge a $10 administrative fee and refund the applicable program fee (two fees, two transactions).
A non-refundable late fee of $10 per individual registration will be added after the registration deadline has passed.
