LANE CLOSURE - 2525 7th Avenue - Water Main Break
Due to a water main break at 2525 7th Avenue, the southern two lanes of 7th Avenue are closed. One lane of traffic is being maintained in the northern two lanes.

"Pedal Marion" - Take Part in Community Bike Rides following the Uptown Marion Markets
Bicyclists are encouraged to meet at City Square Park when the market closes, at noon on July 9 and August 13 and at 1 p.m. on Sept. 24, to depart on an 8-mile loop around Marion.

Signals Activated at Tower Terrace Road and N 10th Street
This change became necessary with the extension of Tower Terrace Road east to Winslow Road, which will open to traffic this fall.

Facade Improvements Underway in Uptown Marion
A $500,000 CBDG grant was awarded by Iowa Economic Development Authority on June 18, 2014. The Facade Improvement Program is to be concluded by June 30, 2017.

Work to Begin on Central Corridor Roundabout between 26th and 31st Streets
Stage 1 of the roundabout will be constructed on the old Marion Iron Site (shown below in yellow) and should have minimal impact to traffic. The southerly lane might be closed during paving or utility operations.
