Starting July 20, 2020, the Marion Public Library will reopen to the public by appointment only. Patrons will be able reserve a 1-hour time slot to access the building for activities such as finding materials, using computers or accessing the DOT kiosk.

A multi-jurisdiction trails project is gaining momentum in Marion. Earlier this week work began on the CeMar Trail, a 3.5-mile trail project that will eventually connect Downtown Cedar Rapids with Uptown Marion.

To promote physical distancing, reservations are required. The lot will accommodate up to 50 vehicles and space outside of each vehicle will be dedicated for seating. Only one reservation per household. Guests must have a confirmed reservation and show proof of reservation upon arrival.
