A ribbon cutting will be held Dec. 12 to celebrate the completion of two new segments of Grant Wood Trail stretching from 31st Street east to Highway 13. It will take place at 12:30 p.m. on the trail near the intersection of 35th Street and 4th Avenue, north of the Centex station in Marion.

The Water Department maintains the water mains required to deliver water to homes and businesses. Property owners are responsible for the connection to the water main, the piping that carries the water from the water main, the curb stop box, the water meter, shutoff valves and pipes.
