Marion Fire Department celebrates Fire Prevention Week

The Marion Fire Department keeps very busy during the month of October educating area youth on fire safety. They visited about 620 kindergarten students, 560 first graders and 621 third graders during Fire Prevention Week alone.

Marion Fire Department to Hold a Live House Burn on October 6

In an effort to improve firefighting skills, the Marion Fire Department will be conducting a live house burn on Saturday, Oct.6. This training will take place at 880 2nd Street. The estimated training times are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Road Work Notification: 27th Street from 1st to 2nd Avenues
