The City of Marion and Trees Forever are partnering to offer low-cost trees for adoption to Marion residents. These tree adoptions are intended to help replant on residential land in neighborhoods and yards.

The City of Marion is pleased to announce that the Marion Municipal Swimming Pool at Willowood Park will open for the season on Memorial Day, May 31. In addition, Red Cross swimming lessons will be offered at the Marion Pool in the summer of 2021. Classes will be filled to 50 percent of capacity.

Garbage and recycling will be collected according to the normal schedule. The Public Services office and Yard Waste Facility will be closed on Friday, April 2. The Recycling Drop-off Center and Yard Waste Facility, both located at 195 35th Street, will maintain normal hours of operation on Saturday.
